For the past 5 weeks, we have been working on our speeches. We were given some topics to choose from or we could make up our own topics. Our speeches had to intrigue the audience, make sense and be presented with confidence. The topic I chose was 'Money should NOT have been invented!'

Great speech Laura. There is an old saying that 'Money is the root of all evil.' Like you I think that student loans are unfair. I think you make some very good points in your speech. Sometimes the things we like to do the most - our hobbies - are not done for money. They are done for love.
ReplyDeleteHere is a bad joke about money: Money cannot buy you happiness but it can buy you a big yacht so you can go looking for happiness.
To be honest I like having money to buy nice things but the nice things are not half as important as people. What three things would you like to buy?

Money is good to have but your right... It shouldn't have been invented, its just something that is useless but you need it.
