Digital/Visual Mihimihi

In the first two weeks of school, Rimu class learnt how  to write and create their own “visual mihimihi”. This is our introduction to our class. We also made a video to go with our “visual mihimihi”. The challenging part was getting our pronunciation right. It was also very challenging at times when we were ready to film, because some of us were using the Ipads already. Our mihimihi had to have 3 parts to it.

1)  A photo or self portrait.
2)  Things that are important to us.
3)  Symbols or pictures that represent our culture.

Here is my “visual mihimihi” please comment and tell us what you think.

  1. Laura: Your voice booms out in an authoritative manner which captures and holds the listener's attention. The visuals match up nicely with what you are saying. You have included an interesting photo of yourself. Well done. I look forward to following your blog this year.

  4. I think that your video is good because there is no voices in the background. But maybe next time get the voice over a bit better because i can not hear you.
