100WC Australian Crocodiles

This week for the 100WC the prompt was:

Wide,  Orange,  Crocodile,  Within,  Collapsed

With my 100WC I searched up some facts about Australian Crocodiles.  I learnt some interesting facts about how Australian Saltwater Crocodiles are by far the most dangerous animals in Australia.

Here is my 100WC for this week, feel free to comment.

I was travelling around Australia, reptiles crawling and haunting the rivers. I came across a gigantic crocodile, it’s wide mouth opened and collapsed when a school of fish swam past his long body. Within the distance between the crocodile and I, I could easily be attacked.

I ran as fast as I could. All the way back to my van. I was hot but nothing was going to stop me getting to safety.

I got that feeling that the crocodile was chasing after me. The sky was transitioning colours, as I turned what I saw was a beautiful orange sky.

The Fear Streaming Tears

Today we had a task of writing a new 100WC.
This weeks prompt was: '…as the smoke cleared…'
Hope you enjoy my 100WC and feel free to leave a positive comment.

It was a warm summer's evening, I was slowly falling asleep on the couch. I was home alone. I woke up with a sudden fear. I could smell some sort of smoke coming through the kitchen window.

THE NEIGHBORS APARTMENT WAS ON FIRE!🔥

My brain was going crazy… What should I do?
It then came to me that I needed to get down low and get out of my apartment.
I grabbed some appliances and got out.
I called the fire department, and they got to the apartment buildings in about 5 minutes.

By then it was about 11:45 P.M.
As the smoke cleared I saw the firefighters bring out a 6 year old boy. I could see tears of fear streaming down his cheeks.

100WC

This week's 100 Word Challenge was very easy at sometimes, but also very hard because sometimes I had too many words.
Here it is:

I had just got an invitation to Japan, it turns out I was invited to a performance of people playing violins. I couldn’t wait!
I was so excited.

It was time for my flight. I then realised that I forgot to pack my violin

I stared at the clock to see what time it was, It was time to walk over to ‘Gate 7’, as I was walking I saw someone eating some yellow peppers. I thought to myself I don’t think I’ve ever eaten yellow peppers before.

I was now on my plane, the Airplane swept off into the sky.

100 Word Challenge

This week's challenge was really hard because we had to think about a conversation between a man and a statue.

I was waiting patiently for Air NZ Flight 560 to fly back to my hometown, Leeds, a northern city in England. I couldn’t wait to see my beautiful GrandChildren.

I had been waiting for about 2 hours, I was so tired of standing, so I decided to find a park bench outside a restaurant, where I could also have a bite to eat.

Finally I found a park bench. There was a man sitting there, as still as a statue. We started chatting about worldly news. “How do you feel about everything that’s happening around the world right now?”, he asked politely, “I’m not really sure, I replied.”

'One Night'

This Week the 100 Word Challenge prompts were:

Silence   Orange    Thunder    Pyjamas    Swam

I found it really difficult to write this 100 Word Challenge because we had to include all 5 words in our story.
I look forward to seeing your comments.

One night as I was wandering home from a long day of work, I came across a cat wearing orange spotted pyjamas. I was very confused why this cat was even wearing pyjamas.

I finally reached home. As soon as I walked into the house, there was 10 seconds of silence then, ‘BANG’ out of nowhere the house started filling up with water, but it was no ordinary coloured water, it was ‘Orange’!

By the time the house was completely full of water, we all swam out the window and into the terrifying thunder and lightning storm.

I didn’t like the thought of this at all.

'Stairway to the Sky'

                                   'Stairway to the Sky'

This Term Rimu class have been participating in the 100 World Challenge. Every week there is a new topic/prompt that we have to write 100 words. I really enjoyed writing this story because it is really fun thinking of what you're going to write with that topic/prompt.

I was wandering around the fields, suddenly I heard an Elephant stomping around. I decided to follow the noise, and it took me to a place I had never been before. As I got closer the Elephant got louder. Out of nowhere the noise just stopped.

The next day I went back to the exact same place, as it was lighter outside, I saw a stairway up to the sky. I chose to walk up, as it may not have been the best choice. I was very quiet and sneaky.

After 1,000 I made it up into the sky. ( Yes, I know what you’re thinking, I counted.)
